After 55 minutes of fussiness and/or crying done by little Miss Miriam, I got her out of her crib. She was so wound up by that point that I know she was never going to nap. I even went in a couple times, picked her up and patted her back. She calmed down, but the minute I put her back in her crib, she went to a high pitched wail in no time at all. There wasn't even a wind up period.
I called my mom and got some advice and now, after a bit of cuddle and play time, we are on attempt #2. I nursed her, burped her and changed her diaper and put her back in her crib. She has been crying for 10 minutes. She is SO tired. When I pick her up, her eyes are about half open. But, she is also SO stubborn. This is going to be tough.
