I am back from a blogging break and am ready with this last week's brutally honest confessions. Are we ready, folks?
This last week, I most certainly did not blow Weight Watchers right out of the water and pretty much eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted....even if I was not even hungry. No way. it is only my third week at Weight Watchers and my second time weighing in. One would be completely mortified to actually GAIN weight the next week you arrive at the meeting.
I did not skip giving Miriam cereal 1....ok, maybe 2 days in a row and just add in extra nursings when we were out of town. That would be completely lazy and if I were to do something that irresponsible, I would probably have to remind myself that soon she will be eating all the same foods as me and I will not be able to skip out on feeding her. That would be abusive.
Miriam definitely did not face plant on a hard surface this week when she was playing in my lap and lunged for a toy. Not my baby. She is a sweet, quiet girl. She never tries to leave my arms or move so fast to an item that she is not allowed to play with that I can't get there in time. She is demure and dainty.
And if she were to face plant on a hard surface, I would definitely not call my mom and ask her if my child was going to get blood clots in her brain and possibly lose any intelligence she has acquired in her short 6.5 months on this planet. That would be silly.
Last night was definitely not the first night Miriam has spent in her room. And we most definitely did not purchase and set up a motion sensor monitor that will sound a high pitched alarm if she stops breathing. And I definitely did not check on her several times in spite of said alarm.

I love your 'Not Me Mondays'. You always make me laugh so hard that my poor neighbors probably think I have some sort of mental disorder. Thanks for making my day!
