Good Morning! It is a beautiful Monday morning in July and time to give you a list of things I definitely did NOT do this past week. (which, of course, we all know is actually a brutally honest list of things I may have.......most likely.......all right, I definitely DID do. )
When Miriam woke up in a happy mood the other day and I went in her bedroom to see her standing up in her crib for the first time, I definitely did not reduce her to tears by coming in her room and allowing her to see me only to leave again to find the camera, making her think I was playing some kind of cruel joke on her. And I did not take a picture anyway.
All the pictures we have in our house are candid and never posed. I did not ask Daniel to take a picture of Miriam helping me with laundry because I thought it was so flipping cute. This just occurred naturally and Daniel naturally picked up the camera to capture it.
When Miriam wakes up in the morning, she is sometimes still sleepy, as we all are. When she is in this type of mood, I definitely don't prop her in front of the TV to watch Baby Einstein or Dora so that I can do my Bible Study.....er, I mean.....blog or mess around on facebook. That would be incredibly irresponsible.
I have spent the last couple of weekends with my cousin, Becca, who is my bestest friend. We have 3 sweet baby girls between the two of us and, although we love them dearly, we were ready for a break when they went down for a nap last weekend. So, we decided to do pedicures.....on ourselves. It was not relaxing. And it did not make me think that I am never going to do it myself again.....even if it saves $20.
What did you not do this last week?

I am so glad you are back Heather- you really do have some of the best Not Me Mondays.
I love the picture of Miriam all tired in the morning. That is totally me.
(and you should talk to Sarah about getting dressed- I think Henry asked her where they were going when she got him dressed one morning. = ))
I am totally a picture nut too, I drive my hubby crazy asking him to get the camera and capture that picture perfect moment...and have also taken pics of my kids crying.
