Eve turned one. And I threw her a party complete with a cute homemade banner I saw on Pinterest.

I also made homemade cinnamon rolls and brunch kabobs with fruit and all kinds of breakfast items. The table was decorated in black paisley and accented in pink. At the end of the table, there was a photobook highlighting sweet pictures of Eve from her first year, which was signed by each family member attending.
It was fun. And if I stopped right here, you would think I am a wonderful mom who wouldn't ever let something as minimal as a first birthday party stress her out or cause her to lose sleep.
So I will.
