Toffee & Cocoa

For the first time since being a mom, I spent a lot of nights away from my girls this summer. It was weird. It was sometimes sad. But, it was mostly fun. For me....
My girls had a bit of trouble, so by the last overnight trip, I decided to get them 2 special friends who would send them messages throughout the trip. Miriam has an obsession with horses and I was in Texas, so it wasn't difficult to find them these great little horses.

Toffee and Cocoa were excited to introduce themselves to my girls and it had the desired effect. By the end of the trip, Daniel said they would wake up in the morning and cry because Cocoa wasn't there yet.

Apparently, I am easy to replace.

They enjoyed drinks by the pool.

And sunbathing, too.

They weren't that great of roommates. They always forgot to put the toilet seat down. (that was a favorite of my girls)

They met a Texas Longhorn named, Hank. He was a good buddy.

They rode the elevator to lots and lots of sessions.

And after all that......they needed to rest.

They flew home to the girls who asked for them before mommy even got a kiss.

They were good travelmates overall. And the girls LOVED getting the pictures and updates on Daddy's cell phone throughout the trip.

Success!!

Love this...I'm going to get my husband to do something like this on his next trip.
