Not Me! Monday

From now on, on Mondays, faithful reader of my blog, you can expect a post titled "Not Me! Monday." This idea taken from http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ will allow me to bare my soul to the blogging world with a list of things that there is no way in tarnation I have ever done, let alone done this past week. (Those clever enough to catch on will soon realize that the list is in fact, things that I have done.....you get the drift??)

So, without further ado, here is my first Not Me! Monday post.

This past week, I surely did not use up an entire gallon of vinegar in my laundry, hoping to take out the sour smell from them sitting too long. Nope, not me. In this house, laundry is done on a strict Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule. Clothes are folded and placed in their drawers promptly after the buzzer sounds on the dryer. In fact, they are usually still warm.

Oh, and speaking of not using vinegar....I certainly did not use it on multiple loads.

I also did not have a postpartum meltdown as stated in my previous post. And it most certainly did not result in me sleeping down the basement for a couple of nights just to have some time by myself. And I did not decide that henceforth, any meltdown following the birth of my daughter will be referred to as postpartum.......even when she is 30.

I did not blow on my infant daughter's tummy even though I am extremely sick with a head cold; risking her health and hoping that my magic breast milk will keep her away from the germs, just so I could hear her sweet laugh.

And, once again, speaking of breastmilk.....I certainly did not taste my own breast milk to ensure I did not get sick from it; in order to make sure the milk I pumped was ok for Miriam. I would never do that. It is weird and gross. And, oddly enough, I am not the only person who didn't do that this past week.

That concludes this week's Not Me! Monday post.

Please still be my friend.

ha- I do like "Not Me! Monday." You are funny.

(You could maybe try the laundry (the beautiful, clean, fresh scented laundry) with baking soda in the wash if you run out of vinegar.)

I hope you get better soon.
