Not Me! Monday

Inspired by Mckmama.

This past week, I did not do only 2 loads of laundry even though you can not even walk in my laundry room and I most certainly did not fold it in 2 different rooms and then leave it piled in each room. And it is absolutely not still sitting there. I am a fabulous housekeeper and I always have clean clothes in our drawers and nothing lying on the floor of the laundry room.

I did not wear a pair of jeans that were so big for me that they fell off gradually as I walked. That would pose a dangerous risk to myself and my baby daughter as I carried her places. Not to mention look totally stupid.

And finding that my post pregnancy jeans were too big, I did not squeeze myself into 2 pairs of my pre-pregnancy jeans and wear them out in public even though there was a significant amount of "muffin" spilling out over the top simply because it was the first time I could get them up over my thighs and butt. (although if I DID do that, I also may have worn my pregnancy Bella Band to suck it all in....)

I did not "clean" my house by throwing everything in Miriam's room. That would completely defeat the purpose and would just make more of a mess for me to clean up later. Why would I do that?

For my husband's birthday, I absolutely did not draw on one of his beaters and then wear it around in public in honor of his birthday and I absolutely did not make a matching one for Miriam. And I am not too lazy to post pictures tonight.

I also did not promise that his all guys birthday poker night would be completely "girl free" and then proceed to decorate the whole main floor with party decorations relating to playing cards and poker. hee hee. That would be so girly.

What did you not do this past week?

Are they allowed to be non-mom related? If so, here's mine :)

I did not leave the grocery store in Erie (safest town ever) and convince myself for a solid minute that my car had been stolen only to find it behind a big truck.

I also did not go home and look through my quarters for a 2009 (mike needs them for his collection) only to reject them because they were mostly from the 1800s (only to realize I was looking at the wrong date. . .)
