Not Me! Monday

Inspired by Mckmama.

Let's just dive right in, shall we?

This last week, I did not start about a million projects in my home at one time; not entirely finishing even one of them. Despite the fact that doing that exact thing drives me flipping bananas. Nope, not me. My house is in tip-top shape. Always clean. Always organized. If there were a project to start and finish, it would be something wonderful like re-grouting our bath tubs or fixing the toilet that runs. Because not only am I productive, but I know how to do lots of handyman things like that.

This last week, I did not attempt to renew my library items again simply because I kept forgetting to return them. Oh, and it certainly wasn't from the first time I checked things out when I signed up for my library card. And they are not still sitting here on my table as I type this.

This week was the first time I attempted to make one of Daniel's favorite meals gluten free. I have made this item many times in the past, but never with gluten free manicotti noodles. I wasn't able to locate gluten free manicotti noodles, so I decided to substitute gluten free lasagna noodles and just roll them up. Upon boiling the noodles and discovering that they basically looked like I had placed the box of pre-cooked noodles on the ground and jumped directly on top of them from a high place, I did not decide to use them anyway. The finished product did not resemble a slop of some sort that one might possibly find in a prison facility. And I did not allow my husband and his friend to partake of it anyway.

That's it for this week's brutal honesty. Tune in next week for more things I would never ever do even if my life depended on it.

You guys are going gluten-free? That is tough. Did it taste any good? We made a pasta dish I will blog about shortly that looked awesome- but tasted pretty blah.

I did NOT laugh all the way through your post, my funny friend.

And I did NOT just repair last night a blanket that I made for Brody that I finished the night before he was born and came unraveled a week after he was born. (Did you get that?)

And I did NOT pay $36 in library late fees just last week. I should've taken a cue from my friend who repeatedly renews the books. Duh.
