I made some sushi. It was yummy.
She played on the computer with Daddy.
She learned to crawl.
She got lost in things.
She took a few naps with her uncle.
She spent some time with her soon-to-be aunt.
She grooved it out in her Jimi Hendrix onesie that Uncle Isaac gave her.
She played with some cousins.
We've also moved. Pictures of that later. It was a looooooong, sometimes stressful settling in time. But, it is finished and we are enjoying our new digs. And this last month, Miriam's development has pretty much been on turbo speed. She went from rolling, to full out crawling. She learned to say "mama." She became a COMPLETE mama's girl. She is pulling herself up, crawling up stairs all on her own and LOVES to dance to music. She claps, shakes her little butt and does her signature move......the "head shake." Freaking awesome.
Her personality is so amazingly fun. I couldn't have asked for a better time with my sweet daughter. Daniel and I get an absolute kick out of her and constantly rave about how much we love her personality. Is she easy going? Absolutely not. Is she a quiet, peaceful little girl? HA! Heck no. She is LOUD. She is OUTGOING. She is SILLY. She is bad tempered.....I foresee temper tantrums in our future. Many, many temper tantrums. She is mischievous. She crawls over to things she knows she is not supposed to get into, looks back at me to see if I am watching and then proceeds to touch it. She understands the word 'no' and, in fact, will sit, stare and grunt at the item I have said "no" to touching. She listens and is capable of obeying. Even if she doesn't do it all the time. Soon she will be perfect. ha. KIDDING.
As for Daniel and I.....we are adjusting. Daniel has had two interviews for jobs. The first of which was one he was eagerly anticipating, but was sorely disappointed by not getting. The second is of a completely different nature, but will actually allow for him to return to school more easily. Please pray for guidance in that regard.
I have also had an awesome time of growing closer to another sister-in-law. Kristen lives so close to us now and I am loving getting to spend so much time with her. And she's carrying my first niece! I am going to be an aunt! SO exciting.
All in all....it's been a crazy time. And more crazy times ahead! We have a lot coming up in the next few weeks and I am really excited about them. Stephen and Monica's wedding, fourth of July, MY BIRTHDAY, MIRIAM'S first birthday.....LOTS.
So fun.

Hurray! I have missed your blogs Heather. I am glad you are back.
Miriam is getting SO big! What a month with do, eh? I love that you guys are loving her personality. When I was younger, I thought that kids didn't really get personalities until they were, like, 3 years old. How wrong was I?
I am praying for you and Daniel as your transition. That is tough.
Glad you are back!
Hey sister!!! Loved your post. And I, too, am so glad we live closer and have spent so much time together. More Kristen Days ahead for you my dear!!!!
