Miriam really enjoyed all the festivities surrounding her 2nd birthday last month. And though she LOVED the gifts, I would have to say her favorite part was everyone singing "Happy Birthday" to her.
Uncle Joe got married ON her actual birthday and the entire reception sang to her while she blew out the candle on a delicious gluten free cupcake.
The next day she had her party and got to hear it again.
And since that 2nd birthday, I have heard her singing it many times. To her stuffed animals, her Nana, herself. But, my favorite rendition of that beautiful birthday song came 2 days ago when I was getting her ready to leave the house.
The conversation went like this:

Miriam: " HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, MY SHOES! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!"
