Nuff said.

YEAR: 1995
ACTORS: Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet
GENRE: Ahhhh....love.
RATED: PG
THE SCOOP: A rich man dies leaving his three daughters and wife poor, by the inheritance rules of the time. Oh for shame. Who will ever want them now? With no money? No dowry? Can you hear me in your head saying all this in a dramatic Jane Austen type of tone?
Oh! And I love the soundtrack. I own the soundtrack. So sweeping and lovely.
FAVORITE CHARACTER: Marianne Dashwood- Oh my goodness. She is the epitome of dramatic and a hopeless romantic. My kinda gal.
FAVORITE LINE:
Marianne: Can he love her? Can the soul really be satisfied with such polite affections? To love is to burn- to be on fire, like Juliet or Guinevere or Eloise....
Mrs. Dashwood: They made rather pathetic ends, dear.
Marianne: Pathetic? To die for love? How can you say so? What could be more glorious?
Mrs. Dashwood: I think that would be taking your romantic sensibilities a little too far.
WHY I LOVE THIS MOVIE:
Re-read my favorite line. Seriously. What could be more glorious? : )
